Mixed Media Mosaics
April 30, 2022

$65.00
Join us as instructor Anne Jackson (see bio below) guides in the world of mixed media mosaics. In the 2.5 hour class you will create a mosaic heart out of glass, ceramic pieces, rocks, buttons, the list is endless...
Once your creation is finished, Anne will encase each masterpiece in resin. This will be done after the class so that all glues used have a chance to dry. Completed creations will be available for pick up the following week.
The workshop fee includes all materials needed to create your artwork. Participants are encouraged to bring any tiny treasures they would like to incorporate into their piece. Examples: jewelry, rocks, buttons, bottle caps, broken glass, pottery shard etc.

Anne Jackson Bio
After retiring as a mental health social worker, I have been able to pursue my passion for travel and for mixed media glass art. In 2014 I took a glass class from Mary Hong in Grayton Beach Florida https://maryhongstudio.com and my glass addiction was born. I've taken a few more classes from Mary, but I'm mostly self-taught. I've had many beautiful accidents by just going for it! I love encasing things in resin; glass, bottle caps, tiny travel treasures and the list goes on and on. You can find my work at Stockton Mercantile in beautiful downtown Rocheport.
