Mona Olivia Kacher
A science nerd by schooling and a musician by training, Mona's creations are as varied as her interests. She has made candles, jewelry, custom hand-rolled paper beads, and paper mache trinket bowls. Mona uses copper wire with recycled watercolor paper or nature photos to create artsy cuff bracelets. She paints with alcohol and inks on ceramic tiles.
Preferring to work with 'recovered' materials and found objects, she would also like to start working with paper-crete and hypertufa in the next year. Photography, along with music, has been a great interest throughout her family. She looks forward to meeting other creative people, of all ages, in the Ashland and surrounding areas. |
