Ever felt like punching something? Here's your class, rug hooking with the Oxford Punch Needle. Pieces from a coaster to rug size can be made. For this class we'll make a 7×7 hooking focusing on hearts for Valentine's Day. The picture shows one option. I'll have several yarn colors available, and we can easily tweak the pattern.
Making rugs from strips of wool has been practiced since the early 1800s. The rug punch needle was made in 1886 to use yarn instead of fabric. This fiber craft will allow you to make creative pieces that can be interesting and functional.
The cost is $60 per person which includes the pattern, wool yarn, Oxford punch needle and Morgan no slip hoop.
